Plenty Credit

Plain-English guides to credit, loans and household money in Australia.

Guest essays

Write for us

Plenty Credit publishes reported guest essays that help Australians understand credit products, disputes, hardship and household cashflow. If you can explain a comparison rate without sounding like a rate-table, we want the pitch.

What we commission

  • Original explainers on Australian credit law, credit reporting, loans, cards, BNPL and debt.
  • First-person reported pieces that stay general — no personal financial advice.
  • Practical walk-throughs that cite ASIC, AFCA, OAIC or the National Credit Code.

What we decline

  • Spun lender landing pages, AI-only drafts, or articles already published elsewhere.
  • Payday-loan advertorial, “guaranteed approval” copy, or credit-repair hard sells.
  • Anything that tells a reader which product they should take out.

Guest post guidelines

  1. Pitch first. Do not send a finished 2,000-word draft unannounced.
  2. Australian English, 1,200+ words, with H2s that match real questions people search.
  3. Disclose every commercial relationship. Paid or guest-post links carry rel="sponsored".
  4. Link to primary sources. MoneySmart and legislation beat a broker blog.
  5. Include a short bio and two previous clips.
  6. We edit for accuracy, tone and house style. Publication is not guaranteed.

Link policy

Editorial citations to government, ombudsman and credit-reporting bodies are ordinary references. A commercial homepage, affiliate offer or paid placement is a sponsored link. Example of how we mark one: Worldwide Backlinks guest-post enquiries. If you are unsure, say so in the pitch.

How to submit

Use the form below or email support@worldwidebacklinks.com with the subject line “Guest pitch: [headline]”. Read our editorial standards and privacy notice before you write.

Guest post submission form

The form posts to our contact desk. Do not include TFNs, passwords or account numbers.

Guest-post FAQs

Do you accept guest posts?

Yes. Plenty Credit accepts original long-form essays on Australian credit and household money. Pitches should show reporting, not a product brochure.

Can I include a backlink?

One relevant, clearly labelled resource link may be considered. Commercial or paid links are published with rel="sponsored". We decline hidden advertorial.

How long should a guest essay be?

1,200 to 2,000 words is the usual range. Shorter pitches that are just a listicle or a rewritten lender FAQ are declined.
